About the Photographer

David Pinkerton is an Australian photographer. With a strong computing background David embraced the benefits digital photography could offer, David combines his skills as a photographer with his eye for detail to reproduce images of nature in diverse and honest ways that capture the essence of the moment.

David's photographic passion began in primary school taking photographs for his school magazine and was further developed while working in the early 90's as a wedding photographer. David realised his true interest lay in photographing our beautiful Australian countryside and his photographs show the beauty in diverse ways from patterns in the sand to sunsets on the beach. These images are taken using Nikon professional digital equipment and printed on high quality photographic paper.

About the Locations

With David and his wife Debra having lived in southeast Queensland and Victoria, the majority of photographs in the Galleries come from these regions. The regions hold many beautiful locations such as Hervey Bay, Bribie Island, Noosa, the Great Ocean Road, and the Coastal Hinterlands.
